Nice, now you'll be able to hear the music over your Ford Racing engine.

Seriously, JL make some good quality equipment and this should be a really nice upgrade over the OEM setup.

Install went really well (including fixing some of my inept handiwork)

Big raps to Chad at Stylyn Car Audio in Nepean Highway Bentleigh!!! Pride in his work and very reasonable pricing.

Car sounds great for what I wanted. Crisp, clear, and you can now hear instruments that weren't there before!! And it all still looks totally stock

(Chad wants me to put in a subwoofer.............but I'm not going there)

So the speakers fit in the door no issues still using the standard grills?

Yep, just fit the standard position.

Only adjustment is that one screw hole doesn't match, so just drill a new one.

Stock grille fits over with plenty of room

It's a 5x7 plate, but with two seperate speaker components and a crossover all built in.

The amp is quite low profile, and fitted easily under the front passenger seat

whats wrong with having a sub? you dont need some imbecile spec 25inch speaker or anything like that. even a small sub can make a huge difference to your sound quality. this is what i have now and it sounds great.

it makes enough noise for my needs, takes up no room and its easy to take out.

Hey, no issues with a sub. And I looked at some of the underseat ones.

But amplifier is now under the passenger seat, and there is no room under the drivers seat because of the motor for the electric seat adjustment, and I didn't want it to be seen inside the cabin.

I simply opted for a simple upgrade of the stock system
