Gday
Im going up to the Australian Ford Forums 2nd National Dyno Event this weekend and before I go im going to spend some money on the car to get a few extra Kw's out of the motor. I plan on doing: An oil change + filter New spark plugs (not sure what brand) Possibly putting a pod in the box or just another stock filter... Ive already clean out the throttle body and inlet/plenium and i had some new leads put on when I last serviced it. Now is there anything else I should do to get some more power??? Mods have to be reasonable so at least under $100 or no more than $200 max. Any help will be much appreciated... Cheerz

Plugs, leads, fuel filter, octane booster, run the car without the airfilter on the dyno..
Dont skimp out on the plugs and leads. |

You could unbolt the exhaust from the cat before you jump on the dyno, but i have a feeling they might suspect that!
AutoOne have a special on K&N air filters at the moment, i just picked up a conical pod filter for uner $70 on Sunday if you need one. Evan |

Thanks Evan, but today i went out and bought a K&N and im getting a good mate of mine to make me up some 3inch piping for the intake. I think ill leave the exhaust on, i want to see what power it makes in a street legal form. If it makes more than 105kw@w I'll be cheering... cheerz

Grab some NGK plugs, do the oil change, change the fuel filter and just make sure everything else is right.

Can't compare individual dyno readings, this has been discussed endlessly on these forums. Compare 1/4 mile times.
