Default Small problem - NOT HAPPY

Cut a long story short. the mrs wanted to go and see Robbie Williams.

1. Ticktek gave me Standing up tickets in the moshpit (up the front in A section) when i ticked i wanted Gold Seating tickets.

2. Ring up the woman on the phone. Sorry we dont give refunds, she just cut me off after waiting like 40mins on the phone. Although i will pass it onto our Online Section. Via email.

3. Ordered some Silver Seating ones and she is happy now. Because none of the others are left.

Does anyone know the laws on selling them. If possible. I dont want to be out of pocket 300 bucks for something that I had no choice over.

Tickettek are ed.

all ticketing agencies are morons. Clearly you wanted tickets so should have just been a straight swap over (maybe cash adjustment). It wouldnt have been a refund, just an exhange. :

As far as selling them goes, Im pretty sure as long as your not selling them for more than the listed ticketek price then its not "scalping" so therefore not illegal.

I think its only when you make extra money on the tickets that it becomes illegal.

hope that helps.

True it is legal to sell tickets as long as you only sell them for face value.

Sell them on ebay. Claim that you were sold the wrong tickets and there shouldnt be a problem.

If you have a genuine reason for selling them and its not purely for profit then its perfectly fine.

Wait until a week before the concert and make some cash.

If tickets where purchased by credit card dispute the transaction with your bank.
