Default Removal of dash cluster...

I was just curious as to how fiddly is it to remove the dash of the telstar? as i want to re-spray mine and also change the dial colours...any info would be awesome

take out the 3 screws you can see above the cluster
on the centre vents pop out the cover around to lever for the fan or fresh air. (to the left of the airvents)

next grab the surround and pull it out about 10cms. unplug the clock, oscilating vents, and the other switches (however many the sedan has).

now, pop the hood and look at the gearbox, uncrew the speedo connector at the first screw thing you see (not the one on the gearbox - about 15cms above) unscrew that and move the cable up so there is lots of cable up the top near where it goes inside.

inside, unscrew the 4 screws around the actual cluster, pull it out. there will be 2 plugs and a speedo cable in the back, (all held in with clips). unplug and remove from the vehicle. Installation reversal of taking out. I actually have a tutorial on the whole procedure on changing guage faces etc.
