Default 2011 HSV GTS in Forza 4 now

I noticed today that they now have another holden in forza despite allready having the w427 and the american GXPs which are basically the same anyways. Very annoying as it would be much better if they had the new GT 335 or even better the turbo 6 in the FPV F6. I do have to admit tho...i did the Hsv up and tuned and tweaked it and its a very good Bclass car around my neutral mugello short track i use for test n tuneing. Guess we just have to settle with the oldschool aussie XB GT and the escort.

I'd say they added the GTS because most of the modelling has already been done.
But with the GT, do they still have the V8SC's from 3? They'd still have a lot more work compared to the HSV, but at least they don't have to start from zero.

I meant they modelled the GTS from the w427 and the GXP. A new bumper, new rear and some wheels and they're done. Same interior, engine, etc etc.

Good to see your caps lock button work too :P

haha yeah whoops..missed that...damn typing in the dark. As for the cars they are in diff classes and each actually drive rather diff...as ud expect with the w427 at least. I just thought with the heavy top gear involvement with the game theyd know how good the G6ETs are at least...ahh well

How they drive is just a bit of coding, not as long as modelling which was 90% done.
But yeah definitely agree, FG's would be awesome in a game

FPV led the way with the GT & F6 in GT4, shame they dropped the ball and didn't work out a way to get the FG F6 & GT into GT5 and then insisted that the older BA models be removed..

While it may not sell cars today, the kids who grow up racing them on games develop a passion for the brand much like other forms of motorsports, virtual or not.

I'd prefer more older Aussies cars like HK/HG/HT Monaros, XR GTs, LJ XU1s etc.

I downloaded the GTS yesterday, whilst Forza is just a game (not even a sim) it just feels so fat n sluggish... though you can get the bum out nicely and just hold it there which doesn't make for fast lap times, but does make for some fun.

The Audi Quattro Group B rally car was in that pack too.. one word: mental.
