You should realistically see better than the XR6 in all kinds of driving. The XR5's are incredibly economical if you don't punish them and will realistically see 10-11l/100km on 95 RON. I'd personally run it on 98 RON myself, but either way they're very economical, ESPECIALLY on the highway where they sink as low as 6l/100km.

Point of intrest for you guys.
My XR8 returns 10-12l/100kms combined driving and the worst I have had is about 13l/100kms over a tank. The Ute does the same almost to the drop. Might just save more and get the F6 that I want. |

I can say with my hand on my heart that if you can average that out of an XR8, then you'll get 9's in the Turbo based on that.

Agreed...if you're driving it like that, it'll sip fuel like its holy water.

I have experimented with the fuel and fuel economy of my XR5. The best I have achieved is 9.1 around town. Not Sydney style of bumper to bumper but to work and home 62 k round trip. This was on 95, and this was Caltex Fuel.
I now average between 9.5 and 9.7 around town, not hammering it, gear changes around 2,700 RPM and into 6th gear around 100 k's an hour. I use Vortex 98. Highway driving, the car will sit around 8.8.
