Hey Guys,

What an unreal 2 weeks it has been. After the I copped last time out with the 12.74 and the trashed tranny, I thought its time to open the beast.

We are working on a project at the moment using the existing camshafts re-phased on the exhaust side, and have had massive results.

Orsm, Sly, DABOSS and a few others have seen me doing this - they know what we are doing, re-phasing the existing cams will tell us where our new cams will want to be - should have them from crow in a few weeks.

the runs went 12.45, 12.54, 12.39, 12.44 and a 12.51 at 90mph nearly turned the car around on the 1-2 change, was a heap of fun.

I put my 3000 dominator back in and OMIGOD this thing is killer on the road now.

I dynoed the car this arv and it

had no helix

std throttle body

12:1 AF right the way through

So I reckon with some touching up earlier in the week, maybe an 11 was possible, but had to settle for 265rwkw. The higher MPH indicates the grunt, also had tailgate and exhaust on, My CAI in and a full tank of juice, no decklid.

I have some MONSTER thankyous.

CAPA SCT EDIT - THE standard fullstop.

Difilippo - THE standard in Boss exhausts. Darren continues to impress

Dominator converters - we worked with them to develop a killer converter, now the public can buy the converter I use.

Northern Differentials - Dad, my best mate and best diff and tranny build for the BOSS

BPT - underdrives that dont kill your motor.

DYNO DYNAMICS - only had the new dyno a couple of weeks.........

some personal, sentimental thanks go to

Orsm Ford cruisers, best car club in the country, and always working at 110% with Bluepower in R and D, Chris in particular the driving agression behind BOSS development

SA boys - Brad and Doc, great mates

SYDNEY BOYS - Chris, Wade, Leigh, Craig, Rich - you guys all rock, Chris I haven't forgotten you mate or you either leroy

QLD boys - Vern (blueblood) Airbox and some tune tips on their way bud, need you up here with me

Noddy and The Don, coming up just for you guys, AUghiaV8 too.

XR club QLD - see you guys soon

Jabba - you know whats around the corner

ROD, MARK and OFR crew - thanks for the patience and guidance

FORD FORUMS.COM.AU the best forum on earth

DABOSS - you have re-ignited a spark in me when I needed it

SLY XR8 - low 12's for you man, the midnight dyno sessions, KFC and crownies

SIMON - you have wussed it and gone to a turbo, lol keep up the boost pal

To the people reading this right now - thank you. You are probably only reading this because you are bored or have a bigtime passion for the 260. Thanks for hearing my babble, and putting up with me. Together with all you guys, we will give these LS1's a shove.

Goodnight guys, Im off home to my beautiful girlfriend, whom i have neglected far too much of late (damn dyno)

Chris
