Default Calder Tomorrow

Hey guys, is anyone going to go to Calder Park tomorrow either to spectate or have a few runs. I'l be heading down with the XR for a few runs and hopefully try and break into the 14s. It will be good to see some of you there.

Good luck guys should be a big crowd with the holiday, get there early so you get a few runs in.
Being a public holiday there should be a big field of cars racing.
Friday Mostly sunny
13°C - 26°C

I went down, met up with Chris from BPR, Craig from ACE, XRCIST, and another guy driving an AU Fairmont (Sorry mate forgot your name).

Was great to meet a few more of the guys on here, had a great night and was pretty happy with my time of 14.28 in the End.

...By the way Quadcams your ute is Beautifull, man does that thing sound great with no pipes on it. :evilking:

No records but we layed down some good runs for some data that we needed for future developments. 12.2 was the quickest to date.

Cheers Craig

Yes mate Wade's Ute can't remember exact details but something like 1.82 60ft and 114MPH.

Tyres turning in 1st and 2nd gear, the track wasn't too bad but we had a complete new combo so we were happy with a brand new car for it's first time out.

Congrats on the new PB Wade, Great effort for first time out with the new combo, I'm sure better and quicker things are going to come now that you have some base line info to set things up, Your in good hands with Chris and Craig.

Had an average day, lost a few kg's due to the 2 vomit's on the western ring rd on the way to the track...............another story, I believe Kevvy boy once had a spit before a meeting, and nothing wrong with the way he throws the clutch pedal...........

car was turning the tyres in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and we just found out that the car has ripped the rear spring eye bush out. I thought it was skating a little hard at the 1000 ft.......must just be used to the blown beast! :

Pretty happy, first time out with zero problems in the eng, clutch, diff and tune dept, bad traction and too much hp - not a good recipe....

Cam, dont stress too much about the record mate. we are here for wade and his car. Wade has given us the brief on what he wants, customer satisfaction is paramount to myself and craig. this is quite unique. we do not usually have a customers car to R and D, we are normally R and Ding our own packages.

Wade was a little too keen, but however I made an agreement with wade that we are prepared to take this on, and any battle damage will be fully walleted by Bluepower, as blowing up clients cars and using their dollars does not feel quite right. :evil3:

As for the record, i think Ratter and Craig have enjoyed their cars to date, and the black ute did a nice job with several people enjoying a stint behind the wheel just for laughs.

So no record predictions here. No stories about "we are gonna do this, and we are gonna do that" because we are not "gonna" do people. We are achievers. and our aim here in the achievement ring is to make Wade happy...........

or he is gonna kick my A R S E!!!lol

The same assurances where given to me when I started racing my ute as I was a little worried about damaging my Pursuit, I'm glad to say that I did not have to take Chris up on his offer and the pursuit is still running sweet and the only evidence of racing is the time slips and some stone chips.
