Default Antenna

Hi all,

I have trawled through the old posts re a half height antenna switch but I am still confused. I really want to put one into my xr8 series 3 but would really appreciate it if someone could give me instructions. I want to put the switch under the dash, not full on like some have done with it in the upper fascia.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Simon

Did you do a search?

I found this - you can put the switches wherever you want.

Thanks JC, yes I did search and found lots of articles but none which seemed straight forward. Is there supposed to be a link in your post?

Yes there is. Don't know what happened to it. I'll see if I can find it again.

Found it - it's in a thread titled Pioneer Sux (not so obvious really):

What about using the existing button for half-height in my fairmont as an "up/down" switch for the antenna?
Is that the same? Or does anyone know how to do it?
