Hey guys and girls, my xr8 ser 111 220 kw still has its original tune from factory. I had the car serviced at ford to the 20,000 Km mark but have serviced it myself since then. Car was built 06/01 I think from memory. Has Ford done any updates on the software that would be worth going to ford to get updated. I have not done anything to the car except cat back 3 inch exhaust, shift kit and larger SS induction cold air intake so I dont think I could justify a full tune on a dyno.
If the answer is yes then does anybody know how much that costs ? |

A reflash of the ECU with the latest tune is around the $80 mark (about an hour's labour). Not sure if there have been any updates, but Ford will be able to tell you what the tune version in your car is, and what the latest version is. I'd be surprised if there are any updates with yours being a series 3.
