None on here because they're pretty damn rare on the ground.

Haven't heard of any issues with them. But as already mentioned, they are quite rare.

your right there are quite a few for sale.

To be honest i dont know how good or bad they are reliability wise. They would be good on fuel though for sure.

I can vouch for my Petrol WT Zetec. And i did drive a Diesel Manual Zetec before buying and did think it was quite good. Went like the petrol i thought.

Cant comment going up against a VW polo, but there will be some comparison reviews out there for sure.

Fiesta v Polo, most reviews will favour the VW. The jurno's seem to wowed by the Germanic "feel" of the Polo.

HOWEVER....... these reviews don't take running and repair costs into consideration. A VW is certainly not a car to own outside of warranty.

Considering the Fiesta is a great driving car, super flexible and fuel efficient as a diesel and with Ford parts and service price/availability, I would be ruling out the Polo.

Understresed PSA engine last 300,000 kms if serviced reguarly ie oil, filters etc.
Manual gearbox and clutch no issues known quantity.

Be a great little car if a bit slow from take off but extremely economical.
