Hi. We are a 2 Ford family. 1995 Fairlane & 1999 Festiva.
The Festiva sometimes has issues when the intermittent wipers are turned on. Sometimes they just cut out & sometimes they cut out & also cut out the fan/air con. Has anybody come across this before? Any suggestions as to cause? It appears to be electrical, along the lines of a short. any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Never had that prob!
I doubt they share a curcuit however, as the wipers and fan have nothing to do with each other? Perhaps the grommet in the firewall has popped out, and the loom has rubbed through on these 2 wires and shorting out? Has anything been fiddled with? like has the dash or steering column been removed ever? The wipers could just be a worn switch?? An auto electrician would be able to isolate the circuits and locate the problem pretty quickly I would imagine? |

We have had auto electrician scratching his head. I had hoped someone else might have had similar problem & found solution.

Festiva electrical issue
Linear Mode
