Default APL Introduction

Hi everyone. I've been reeding through these forums for ages and used quite alot of the tips, so i thought i would introduce myself now that i have a new beast.

My name is Simon, I'm 20, apprentice electritian

I used to have a stock EB 4.0L Fairmont but have recently brought a '91 LTD (i'm pretty sure its a Fairlane, LTD mockup, but i dont really know the difference). The plates say NC and i am lead to believe that is Fairlane. But anyway it says LTD on the back and has a LTD front.

Its a 5 Litre, 5spd Manual, it has some kind of lowered springs on it and 17", and everyone seems to be a fan of stating that they have clear indicators, so mine has that too, and its dual fuel

Hey nice ltd/fairlane.I'm sorry but I can't shed any light on what it is,I would have thought LTD's would have leather standard though.

I remember seeing this car for sale when i was shopping... The only reason i didn't buy it was I couldn't bring myself to own another NC

It is definatly a very nice car... and yes, it is a NC Fairlane, not a DC LTD.

Damn mate, that car was supposed to be mine!! I had told the owner I was on my way to drop off a deposit, and he's like yeah no worries, see you soon. 20 minutes later he calls me to say the car's sold!!

Ah well, nice ride mate! That thing drove awesomely!

It actually reminds me a lot of LTDHO's car.

Maybe it's time for you to fit a supercharger!

Then the number plate would have to be LTDHO2

Yeah that bloke is my girlfriends uncle, he bought the car about a year ago and i told him i'm buying it when you sell it. And he did say there was a bloke from eseries that wanted to buy the rims, must of been you.

Anyone know or recommend anyone or know how i would go about getting the bumber painted. The missus mum backed into it yesterday. Thanks to the good old plastic, there is no dents, just the plastic is scratched and paint missing.

Also i need to get the bonnet panel beated. the bloke before me left something on the engine and closed the bonnet and now there is a small opening right near the drivers washer. Is anyone a panel beater or recommend any one near cranny
