Default If I had the money I Would.......

Finish the sentence in an automotive related fashion. (Within reason of course)

If i had the money I would Pay off and twin turbo my Xr8 (with saftey mods to cope)

Go to the US and come back with a 1969 Dodge Charger. Drop a 440 in it and fully modernise (re trim, digital gauges, fix the rear suspension geometry etc)

....I would buy a Ferrari California. I know it's not the fastest Ferrari, but it's the one I would buy. Does this fall under the category "within reason?"

If I had the money I'd be driving an Audi A8 TDI as a daily and and an evil, modernized HQ sedan sleeper as a weekend toy. That's not to say I don't love my Fairlane but...... well, you did ask, lol.

In a nutshell, if I had the money I would have a garage bigger than my house full of Fords.

I would build a bigger house and start a car collection, The turbo would get some power and then pick up a F6 sedan, i would buy and RS4 and supercharge it, i would buy a Aston Martin DBS just so me and the missus can go to a restaurant and "take the Aston". Buy a patrol ute to bash around my new paddocks in. Thats just a start.
Id buy some classic and a workshop to restore them, but thats a long term project now that ive quit my day job.

Always said that the first car i would buy if i ever had truck loads of cash would be a Dodge Viper.
Possibly the GTS/R and maybe a twin Turbo Kit as well - just for laughs.

As per every thread similar to this, I'd stick with the blue oval for work and play.

I'd take mine Blue with white stripes.

Number 1 on my list would be a Mad Max replica. It's a real aussie icon, and I've always wanted one. That GT40 as well and throw in some modern muscle from the past 10 years. T3 would be top in that. Ute for recreation for some trail bikes.

A couple of bikes put into the mix as well. I'd love to build a garage with a basement underneath. Same size as the house above. Somewhere to store those expensive toys and have some fun as well.

alright if money truly was no object (as in limitless fundage) I would

1. Bring mustang to Australia FOR ALL
2. make sure Falcon retains RWD till the day I die
3. Make sure the I6 remains under the bonnets of Falcons as (at least) an option
4. buy every oil company on earth and set petrol prices globally to a realistic level (even if this means running at a loss - limitless funds remember)
5. buy a 1957 T-Bird A GT40 and a huge shed to put it all in (along with my current cars

Think larger scale guys remember funds are unlimited.

If I had the money I would..

Drop an XR6 Turbo motor in my XH Ute, with the exhaust system that Ive always wanted, fix all the little things that annoys me like the tiny rust spots that are starting to appear, sort out the mysterious rattles and maybe paint it a light gun metal grey then park it in a car storage facility or in the massive garage that id build with the house that id buy and leave it in there next to a GT in red exactly like that picture in a previous reply. Id drive the XH for occasional sunday drives and keep the GT as an investment.

Then Id have the terrible choice of buying either an FG Persuit ute, FG F6E or a 2007/8 Subaru Imprezza sedan as my daily driver.

Id be happy with that.

Instead of trying to weasel my way out of paying the fee to "build over sewer" and paying building approval fees, I would bite the bullet and get my shed up so I could put the Fairlane in it and start the resto. Dont want too much!!

If I had the money, I would build my own massive driving complex, hills, mountains, bridges, scenic countryside, paddocks, bushland, etc and build a skid pan, racetrack etc so I could drive my selection of cars how I want, when I want, and all without having to pay rego, because the whole thing is MY PRIVATE PROPERTY!!!!

It would have garages, medical centre and a helipad, just in case you or your ride got a little bent somehow and needed some TLC, and you could pay to become a member and park your car there in the most secure facility in the world. 24 hour security, satellite tracking for all cars on site and once a month, we would have a car show or invite famous drivers to come and hold training days and seminars etc, do driving displays, and maybe even auctions and market days, whatever we felt like having.

Come to think of it, I might just buy NSW.... that'll do nicely, thanks. ;)
