Default Fond memories Hazelnut roll ice cream!!

Hi all,
just need to share my excitement in finding my childhood favourite "Hazelnut Roll" ice cream. As with sooo many other iconic ice creams, these went by the wayside some years back much to my disappointment. But today as I wandered through a NQR store for the first time, I stumbled across them in the freezer section...woohoo!!

Does anyone else have any old favourites that they wish were brought back?

I for one loved:
Heart
Smurfs (blue ice one stick/ice cream on the other)
and Jelly tips!!

Hazlenut Rolls were great. My gran always had a box of four in her freezer for when we visited.

For those in W.A brownes got rid of the Old English Toffee Conniseaur, which was the best one they made. There was nothing better than icecream mixed with pecans and rich chocolate fudge. I must email and ask why.

My son discovered Hazelnut Rolls at NQR last week. We only have them when we go back to WA as they are still sold there.

In fact, I am having one now

And yes...Bring back the Jelly tip and "Freezers". Anyone remember them?

I was at Thomas Dux today (a boutique supermarket) and they have it in a can...

I was purchasing a kickarse jam that was once in Coles, but due to Coles upholding their policy of only stocking low quality items, they scrapped it...

Dux had it

Munch on Muncheros, we'd rather munch on Muncheros!

They were kickarse! Just like Corn Chips, but way way better. They were corn curls...brilliant. They didn't last long either....

I was borderline addicted to muncheros man.....if they hadn't stopped making them i might have died at the age of 12 LOL!!!

Still, i'd love them to come back...they were great.

As for the Hazelnut Roll...well my old man said they were tops but i never got to have one. Growing up in FNQld you get used to not having the good stuff but maybe i just didn't get to the right places before they canned it.

You can still get Dr Pepper at boutique shops that stock American products like uranium_death mentioned.

Talking about children of the 50's, how about Peter's Eskimo Pie?
And an Adelaide favourite, Golden North Honey Ice Cream.

Can still get small glass bottles, but they charge a premium for them!

But the taste out of glass is a zillion times better than plastic. I dunno how or why, but it just is!
