Default Biante 1:43 TS50 Model: Wrong Wheels!?

Hey all, I just bought a Biante 1:43 scale die cast model of an AU1 TS50 in Liquid silver (#0785/3000) The problem is it's wearing 17" AU1 XR wheels instead of the 18" TS50/AU3 Rebel wheels. Has anyone else on the forums come across the same (or a similar problem) with a model having the wrong wheels?

I really like the look of the 18" Rebel wheels (I also have a 1:43 TS50 in Sparkling Burgundy which has them correctly fitted) but does having the wrong wheels make the model more collectible or just inaccurate?

It's definitely a TS50, and not a TE50 with the appropriate 17" wheels.

Need PICS!!!

It'd have to make it more collectible though if its a mistake.

My liquid silver TS50 before I sold it had the correct wheels. I think you have a collectable there lol.

Sorry to disappoint you but is fairly common for Biante and Classic Carlectable to have something wrong with them. As a collector all I can say is you'll be lucky to get an extra $5 for it.
But look on the bright side, at least you have a rear model. Also you can email Biante to see if they have any correct wheels available.
By the way nice models, not shore if you have being collecting for long. If not watch out as its a addictive hobby. I just brought 2 1:18 this week, 1 1971 E38 Charger and 1 Jonathon Webb mother V8 supercar to add to the collection.

Yeah I'm more interested in accuracy than maybe making $5 on a model. Son of a gun, I bought it off eBay and I guess I could argue that the item isn't the one I bought as the picture on the ad has the right wheels on it?

How much did you pay for the Jonno Webb 1:18 Monster car? That's one fine looking machine!
