I don't own a bike nor have my licence, but I have been for a ride as a passenger on my Dad's Kawasaki ZX14, and let me tell you, that is a very fast bike! He previously owned a Yamaha V-Max and while it was an absolute beast and still today one of the quickest bikes over 1/8 mile, the top end of the new stuff is unreal.

02 Yamaha WR 426

Need to flog it off and get something with a button!! Nothing worse that being stuck on what feels like a near vertical slope, and the only way the bike will stop from slipping down the hill is if you've got both brakes, then you see the gy next to you just push his button, start it up and he's off while i'm trying to work out how the hell i'm going to pull this off!

Ktm 525 is next on the christmas list!

Me and a mate looked at motorbike trailers, and realised how much of a rip off they are, and how plain and crap most of them were, so i said bugger it, lets build 1! Dont think it came up too bad for our first attempt at a trailer, and about the first major thing i've ever built out of steel. Mine's the closest bike.

i got my bike l's about 3 months ago?

i don't have a bike anymore, typical... waste my time getting my bike L's... bought a cbx250 which is a shitter

if you want to sustain 100 in average wind conditions, or want to sustain 90 and below against wind. do not get a cbx250... you may as well get a postie bike.

tried getting a loan to buy a gpx/zzr for $4k.. but my old man WERE(meaning, in the past) bankrupt same as my old lady so they kept getting knocked back.

I have a CBR600 F4i as per my sig(always had sports bikes), but thinking of trying something different - maybe a road registered dirt bike or a naked such as a Triumph Speed Triple...

i`ve had dirt birt bikes for most of my life except the last couple of years.

cant wait to get another one but i`m trying to save up and build a shed on my block of dirt so bike will have to wait its turn. i like the style of the DR400Z , i`ve got short leg disease and dirt bikes seem to be getting taller every model.

only road bike i`ve had was a `81 FJ650 shaft drive. would like another roady to.

About the biggest ****** of a bike you can start. Father in law bought 1 brand new when they first came out, kicked it on the wrong stroke and dialed on the throttle (was used to riding 2 strokes) kick starter came back at a rate of knots and smacked him in the back of the leg so hard it snapped off and left him with a black calf, and unable to walk on it.

Drop a 426, they flood instantly, and sometimes you can be sitting there for 10 - 20 minutes before it'll start again. If you come off, before you even worry about if you're hurt or not you've gotta make a div for th throttle to keep it running, or for the fuel tap if it's stopped.

I'd rather spend my time riding them than kicking them!

never tried a 426 but started a few yz450f's and a crf450 not much harder than starting the old xr400, I will admit being stuck on a snotty hill trying to kick a thumper can be hard.
and yes I'd rather be riding em than trying to start em.

still a pussy for wanting a button. :
