To bad for the swear filter. But he is a massive **** ****.

People look at him spending tens of millions of dollars and failing to win. No he got exactly what he wanted, a fist full of favours.

I don't think the Constitution had something like this in mind back in the day.
Just like the Yanks with there right to bear arms (off topic I know, but similar situation)

Why does Clive need to come to WA anyway to do his job? Surely he could do it remotely and electronically. How about all the guys who actually need to be hands on onsite and can't go to work right now, should not they be a higher priority than the Aussie Trump?

I read that this DH purchased 33 Million doses of hydroxychloroquine. I guess he will have some troubles offloading that stash.

Also, in a local paper....
A local fast-food restaurant Rack City Ribs unveils 'The Fat Cant' burger with Chive Palmergiana in honour of Clive Palmer

He wants to run for local parliament here, that would be funny. Nobody wants to see that idiot on anything more than the side of the road

I don't mind the guy....and I don't mind Donald Trump.

I think he is relying on the constitutional clause that states there will be free trade between the states of Australia.

I think he will probably win that legal argument.

Perhaps just before his private ? jet arrives there could be an incident at designated airport and flight would need to be diverted to Christmas Island

I agree he is likely win due to a 1942? understanding of the world.
Do you think at this stage Victorians should be able to travel freely or should we contain them ? They are not alone, we all could be next but the numbers there suggest they are our first priority (in Aus).
That said I wish them all well.

Free trade doesn't mean entirely free travel does it ? What do we do with someone with the common cold or measles, we try not to expose others; this is just a larger scale that none of us really know the solution.

In my opinion, Donald Trump is far from president material, so much so that Kayne West thought he had a chance !!

Yep...they used to try imposing travel tariffs between states by way of different gauge railways...that was quashed by a constitutional challenge...IIRC

He is President right now...he has already achieved more than the collective efforts of everyone in this forum.
Pretty impressive personal achievements probably aided by many thinking he was a pushover only to be walked all over....(think Hillary Clinton.)

Same could be said of Clive..his personal wealth would total more than all the combined assetts of all registered on this forum....betcha betcha betcha.

They would be happy to because the profit on food alone would be attractive.

We are not in office or a position of influence.

I cant agree with 'already achieved more' , he has caused more damage than success. His anti chinese, anti everyone other than america to be frank is narrow minded.
His promotion of racism and anti immigration is sad.

Palmer had Scott Morrison 100% behind him, and was supporting Palmer's legal challenge.

So why the hate towards Palmer only?

Fatty was the facepiece for Scotty's push to open the borders. If it wasn't for the VIC stage 4 lockdown, Scotty would still be supporting Palmer's bid.

Because some people, believe it or not live in W.A, with the affect of Covid on the population, we don't need that slob to promote free travel at this stage.

Free trade !

Looking at the small amount of idiots in Vic, looks like they were both wrong, love the hindsight but now relative.
Scotty has economy in mind so business is the common denominator. Suggest that influences Scott's decisions but W.A has a good taxable production so income is maintained. We fortunately can afford some time and avoid the higher probability post codes.

So, F_CK off Clive, wait a bit. Learn to use the internet and then get some glasses so you dont need to sit nearer the screen

What happened to Hanson's court challenge, that was backed by Dutton, to re-open QLD's borders?

Talk about common denominator...there is definitely one in these cases.

He is not anti-chinese, he is anti-chinese govt.
Big difference in the clear thinking arena that I hope you appreciate.

You would only need to do a google/forum search on that one, she copped it oo but seems to have laid low (pun?) over the past few years.

Probably just letting Clive and Adani cop heat while she preps her site out there too.

Let's just open all the borders, everyone free to travel around, spread whatever all over the continent and then see what happens - great idea - not.

I am not sure where you are coming from Zilo - but here in the West we do not want the borders open full stop - there has to be a stand somewhere for containment.

Back to Crazy Dazz:

Mining is one of the very very few industries that is ticking over at the moment. Imagine if CV caused a mine site to be close, and workers to be isolated. These are not skills that you can just replace the next day. It would decimate our already struggling economy.

If he does win the court case though, watch for "sovereign citizens" to do the same across the country.

Clive Palmer went to see a doctor,
with a Cane Toad stuck to his face.

When the doctor asked what happened,
the toad replied "well it started as lump on my butt"
