Default New taillights!

G'day,

Well, was bored today, so went out and got me some clear taillights.

I reckon they really suit the color of my car, makes it look smoother and cleaner. (just needs a wash now)

Let me know what ya think!

Cheers

I dont think it looks that bad.

Although I feel sorry for NSW and QLD people, your stock number plates look really bad. Unless you have a yellow or red car I guess.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Well I guess it all boils down to wether I like them or not, which I do!

What are the legalitys of replacing the number plate light with say a blue LED?

The EF/EL clear taillights are the only clear taillights I can put up with. All other clear taillights look crap. Personally I'd be going for EF or EL Ghia taillights. They look the best.

Never really been a fan of these but I must say these are the only car I think they ever have suited.

I have seen colored globes used for number plates but im not too sure on the legalities of them. I wouldnt mind red ones myself.

On the bright side, that's the best application of the clear tails I've seen, good on you for being different.

Regarding the number plate blue LED, it will not be legal because blue is an emergency service vehicle colour. If you can confirm the type of bulb, I should be able to recommend a good quality white LED replacement which will make all the difference.

PS, I'll ask everyone to ignore any trolls, all references to trolls have been removed from the thread. Cheers.
