Default Knocking noise @ rear

a problem that i have just noticed is when i'm driving @ a low speed i seem to be getting this knocking noise @ the back of the car. When driving through car parks or @ low revs around corners it knocks but in general drive @ sixty or in a straight line no noise.

Need to change diff oil and get an additive added to the oil, i have it in my TE aswell. Do a search you will find some info

Do a search and you will find at least one thread on this.

What sort of car? What sort of diff? If it's an IRS limited slip diff, then it's a pain to do, but live axle is not too bad.

we really need to know the details of the car to give you accurate advice, big differences between Live axle/IRS/LSD/Non LSD.

i have a simliar noise in my ute.. so yeah its a live axle with lsd.. its a horrid noise only seems to happen when driving really slowly aswell... but i only notice it once a fortnight or so... shock mounts all seem good so i dunno.. shockin noise if its comin from my diff.. any ideas?

If it only happens when going slow and more so when turning it is the diff. Change the oil to Penrite Limslip gear oil 85w/140 and Penrite LSD additive and all will be fine again. Trust me on this it works.
