Default How to Girly up a Car?

Fixing up an AU for my daughter. Naturally the important things are brakes, tyres, suspension, etc. Followed by the engine.
But I am also after ways to pretty it up for her. Some nice seat-covers are an obvious choice, but beyond that I’m stumped.
Keep in mind that she considers any conventional tarting up to be “bogan.”

It's a very personal thing. Perhaps ask her what she prefers directly, of just get her a gift voucher from Super Cheap and let her decorate and personalise her new ride as she sees fit.

Id sooner give her a voucher for Autobarn and let her choose than get something she doesn't like.

Please dont put any playboy or "crazy *****" stickers on the car, Ive never understood women that do that.

Buy her a Getz

Or else pink numberplate lights and neons, and a full car detail inside and out

Playboy stickers on a car usually means big girl on board

Does your daughter have an iPod or iPhone as if she does prob better idea us upgrading the stereo so it connects to the iPod or iPhone so she can play here iTunes on it.

Or if she down loads music or has alot on her computer upgrade the stereo with USB connection

Yeah I would say these would be the best, non-bogan thing.

However, the more girly the car looks, the more looks in it is gonna get from guys. Just sayin...

Very cheap to do too; Buy her a red car, don't polish it and sit it out in the sun for a year or two.

Probably very, very similar to when I have to drive this bloody thing.
Just image this with P-Plates, driven to the beach by me with a mate in the passengers seat. (when my car broke down)
NOT GOOD

What colour is the car to start with? Some colours just don't work with pink. Pick a suitable complementary colour to match the car, but not too strong or intense, pink if it works, and just use that to highlight the contrasts that ford did. Grill, pin stripe around the bumpers, bump strips on the doors etc. and do the wheels. Get some alloys and paint them as well.

How to make a car look girly?

I would have thought that denting every single panel and putting loooong scrape marks down the side of it would do the trick. Also you’ll need to put some serious gutter rash on all four wheels to finish it off.

Unfortunately an AU ain't a girly car.

Pink highlights and playboy stickers and or ANY attempt to make the car (same deal with most 4 door aussie family cars) look girly will give the impression that a Fat, Peroxide blonde, akubra wearing, chain smoking, bundy drinking, b&s bashing "princess" is behind the wheel.

Keep it clean and tidy and respectable, and let her determine what she wants to do with it, or whether she wants to keep it or trade for a more suitable vehicle.
