The Trend but after market wheels. I recently travelled across to WA. in a 1.6 litre Ambiente Focus but after having to use the Air-con in 40c days the car just died from lack of power, so traded it in on the Trend and bigger engine. Performed well acroos the Nullabor just one trouble I think I have a wheel out of round as I'm getting a bit of vibration through the car and steering wheel.

You got the "S" badge too! haha, is yours just the one with 3m on the back or do you have some kind of mount for it?

Both front and rear are the same badge, rear one was a simple stick on job, but the front one had virtually no surface area on the grill to stick it to so I made up a solid plastic backing plate in the exact shape of the 'S' drilled an 8mm hole in the centre of the plate which then allowed the plate to sit flush on the grill, I then applied some 5 minute araldite to fix it in position. Then it was just a case of sticking on the 'S' badge and job was complete

I just stuck mine onto the 2 parts that there are to stick it onto, so if anyone were to try grab at it, it's theirs D: if it goes missing i'll make some kind of backing like you have done russ.

Annd damn that looks awesome with the yellow stripes, I've been wanting to paint my fog light surrounds and those pics make me want to even more, if it's a sunny weekend I think I just may..

Sweet as! Rear spoiler looks great.

The lip, is it the stick on polyurethane strip type? I've been looking at them. They stay on OK? Hard to apply etc?

Remember the first model laser? They had a teeny lip spoiler at the rear, just under the bottom of the rear screen.

I've been thinking that same lip spoiler for the front could be used at the rar too, at this point. (I guess for side skirts too..?)

Your car looks great mate.

Yeah it was the $40 incl postage one on ebay, I used screws to fit it though, so if you're not comfortable drilling into your front bar stay away. I really like it though, just adds that small detail that sets it apart from any others around.

The last few posts have been real pearlers. Great lookin' XR's and the lip on ConradP's car really looks good. I've been thinking about it for my LW but am unsure of how well it will work, or not.

It's not perfect but I did a Photoshop of the lip onto your LW, it should give you an idea of how it will look

Russ! You legend. It's not all that expensive and providing I dont tap it into my bumper to secure it, it's really only held on by double sided tape which should be easy enough to remove.

I think I'll make that ebay purchase and see how I go Thanks again!

No worries mate, I was thinking about getting one for my LV a while ago as well but it's already pretty low in the front with the Kings SL springs fitted, it's fine now but any lower and it may become a pain when negotiating some driveways
