Talking Susan Boyle. Britain's Got Talent TV Show

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0I...eature=related

How did she hide for the last 30 years with a voice like that?

With her face and voice she is sure to become a cult singer?

We'll be getting towed around if you want a cruise !!!! Not a happy little camper at the moment with "That thing" in the shed. I even gave it the cold shoulder on the weekend and took the stang out for a nice sunday evening drive. "That thing" and I are having some serious issues and we both may need therapy shortly !!!

On the radio the other day there was a segment discussing this situation and people were calling in giving there thoughts. During all this radio host Ryan Fitzgerald quoted " she had a head like a half eaten pasty". When your barely paying attention to the radio and here this come up i was in tears. I cracked up and nearly pulled over, i couldn't see were i was going. Anyway good on her! lol

This is old news...

Been posted everywhere...etc. etc.

BUT I will say that it goes to show how pathetically judgemental we are on people's looks, and even their lifestyle.

I personally don't care if she is not particularly attractive, and hasn't been kissed.

Underneath MAY be a genuinely caring person who without this sudden attention, would be minding their own business, living their everyday life, but we somehow fail to see or think about that.

We attach labels and make assumptions of people on very trivial facts.

I have a lot of respect for Ms Boyle.

Rubbish. She's simply an uncut diamond.

In 2 years you wont recogonise her, after the publicity, makeup, and marketing people have finished.

i didn't quite understand that bit. i'm not familiar with the lyrics of that song. was it a bad choice of song for him to try or did simon just have an aversion to it. either way, they loved the one he did do.

It was funny because you look at the judges and the crowd and you think they are about to give her the boot before she starts and then she starts singing and they are blown away :

She just needs some beauty treatment, because the voice is mint already. Personally I don't like this music but can appreciate the talent.

Look at Britney Spears and all the like. They look mint, but make crap music and earn millions off it :

I'm pretty sure Simon asked him for a different song because it didn't suit the boys voice or something. Amy Whinehouse may be a crack whore but there's nothing wrong with her music, IMO.

100% agree. the lady may not be physically attractive but she has the voice of an angel. don't forget Paul Potts from last year, a short ,fat , guy in a cheap suit who did the best rendition of Nessun Dorma since Paverotti .
i'd love to see the heads on some of the people making comment about Susan's looks. they would probably make a maggot chuck up themselves.
