Hey everyone
Im in the middle of putting the running gear out of an au xr8 99 model into my xy van anyway I have the whole engine bay and dash loom out and Im slowly picking through it but I cant find this on any wiring diagrams what is it and do I need it? Any help would be awesome cheers Brad |

Where exactly in the car did it come from? It doesn't look like anything from the engine bay, perhaps from inside the cabin?

yep your right mate. It came from under the dash, had alot of wires from the stereo n everything to it, I have cut most of the wires out of the loom that I didnt need (wipers, lights, radio etc etc, i just wanted the engine and ignition part of the loom really) but theres still a few wires from this to the fuse box and im unsure of what they are.

Body control Module - Holds Smartlock, Interior Lights Delay, Radio Delay, Antenna Control, Variable Wiper Control and probably a few other functions.

Ok so ive been in touch with shiftkits.com.au about a Smartlock bypass module and that seems to be fine.
If im not using anything else there to me I should be find to remove it Right? |

haha ive got 3 on the go atm mate haha, my xy sedan, the pano and my xp coupe, wanna get the pano finished first tho cause it will be my daily driver haha.
ive always been an early falc person but just had to go through the poondinga car stage first haha |

Hi Tony - I have done the same kind of mod and fitted a AUIII XR8 T5, diff, front brakes, A/c, Dash, seats etc to a XB. I used the original ECU and BEM to negate the use of after market ECU etc. Its all finished now and goes great. Maybe you have a few queries that I may be able to help with Cheers Steve
