Default large paint pressure pots

has anyone used these....are they any good......

time to repaint the house and it's either one of these or an airless sprayer

what are the drawbacks.....

can i lengthen the feed line to the hand piece for working on the roof

Hi

I just used my normal compressor bought a loe pressure spray gun and painted the whole house in a day. Spray gun was normal size did have to fill it a few times but wads no hassle cant remember what psi i ran but was low. No overspray just used a stiff piece of carboard for around windows etc.

yeah!....thanks for that,.....I painted the roof around 4 years ago using wattle solarguard

took me roughly a week using a corrugated roller and 4 inch brush,......I painted the fence and walls with the normal spray gun but vowed never to do it that way again

because the solarguard was light tint base it faded

I thought about an airless, but $3,000 and up seems a little bit expensive

the constant refilling of the standard paintpot up on the roof doesn't appeal to me,......nor the cleanup factor but it's a mongrel job at the best of times

I thought the pressure pot with a 50 mtr set of hoses may be the cheaper option

then there is the question of price......supercheap auto @ $100 or so.....or quality at $800

I think I'll just go and buy the graco and do it once!
