Be careful of extended warranties

I know of quite a few people that have had problems when making claims from the Extended Warranty provider.

it's always been pretty much a buyer beware thing...read the details before sigining up.

and as the article points out, on most extended warranties the only things covered are the things that rarely do stuff up

If it's underwriten by Ford then the warranty should be the same as the initial 3 years.

i got what was left on the new car warranty and then 3 more years . i brought the car from a ford dealer .

Warrenties are a unique thing.

They cover you for failure to you vehicle.

If you expect the car to fail when the cost you don't feel is justified, don't buy ther car in the first place! Why buy a car that you expect to fail?

You will only complain when something major lets go during the extended warrenty and you find it isn't covered.
