Have you tried to see if there are any security cameras around.

Most shops have some sort of camera set up. You may even want to see if there is an atm camera close by, they have been used befor to catch crims.

Shame about the damage, too easy for them to move on and ply their low life efforts elsewhere.
Looking at where the paint has seperated i'm afraid you are going to find filler beneath it as you can see where it has been rusting from the inside.

This sort of rubbish is happening a bit :(

is $1,000 the Standard Excess?

as if its the Standard Excess plus Age Excess you wont have to pay the age excess as the car was parked - you just have to pay the standard excess

Most older cars will have some bog, as most beaters will at least wipe it over their repairs and then sand it back. unfortunately the bog in this one will have to be totally removed to repair it, could be a great time to get a metal finish job if the right beater is used.

I have had the unfortunate dealings of some people from pakenham and Ive never wanted to go back since. Its the outer east version of Frankston with less police pressence. The coles you refer to is near the new housing estates off Princes Hway?

Sad to see a sweet Mini like that get treated in that way! Deserves WAy more respect. BUT I strongly believe that "what goes around, comes around". They may get away with it right now but down the track they will pay....somehow...somewhere....

Shame to see this sort of thing happening.

oh come on, you can not generalise like that it is very rude
i think you will find the people who abuse other peoples property are those who dont know how it feels to have something nice, not just because theyre a certain age and i bet its been happening since before you were born
