Default Working Aussie Day?

Hello All,

Just wondering who has the slight misfortune of having to work today or even on Monday (public holiday)?

I am working today, 7am - 7pm and then i'm working Monday from 7pm - 7am Tues.

Ah well... wish I wasn't working tomorrow as well... I would go home and sink plenty tonight.

Happy Birthday

I did'nt have to work but got volunteered to fix a mates car, easier to do it at work rather than crawling around on his driveway.

I worked 2 years ago on Australia day puting up some steel work for a carpark for a shopping centre in Darwin CBD.

A Commodore rocked up and a guy yelled out " Ya F*cken Wogs!"

Hehe so proud to be an Aussie.

I work a Mon-Fri office job, but we've been pulling a couple of Saturdays to catch up on a heap of work, so working today 8am-4pm.

The car is in the carpark outside fully decked with Aussie Flags (see the Aussie Pride thread in Show'N'Shine) ready for a bit of cruising after work

I was working down in Adelaide.

We had a Hornet doing a flypast for Australia Day too so I had to be in to make sure it was ready to go (that's my job).
Hopefully some of you were at the cricket and saw it zoom past.
I spoke to the pilot when he got back and asked him if there was a decent crowd at the cricket.
His response was "F#@k knows - I was too busy trying to miss the cathedral" lol

250 feet, 550 knots through the centre of the city (below building height). Straight down King William Street and King William Road straight past Adelaide Oval. Would have been good to be there.

Did anyone see it.
