Likewise Paulie. Was really gutted in the end. I was pumped to see what would happen but it just wasn't to be.

A worst there is a test n tune on the 27th that could be a go

driver cooling. i lose 20kg in sweat each round and i've still got the insulation in the FG. the EF is going to be so much fun in summer.

Norm McCormack is using a cool vest (with 8 ice bricks) under his suit in the Mr Filter FED dragster paulie. he swears by it ( and coming back up the return road in last round i would too, it gets mighty hot in that cockpit behind the powerglide.

sweating it out sounds like a good way to get quicker times and run less boost it will mess with the dial in

Went out yesterday and got a few runs in. First pass was a lazy 60' of 1.44 and peeled off an 8.4@174mph and broke a belt. Next pass broke the same belt and pass after that I hadn't screwed the fuel cap on properly and dumped a bunch of E85 on the Tarmac.

Made a bunch of adjustments to the two step, launch boost and shift timing and was keen for a final pass to see what could happen and. Got stopped after the burnout for dropping a little water. Day done unfortunately....

Big wins on the mph and very excited about where to next. Learning the new setup will probably take us a little bit of time to find the sweet spot, but definitely well placed to go forward.

Bring on the 27th test n tune.

Sounds good Paulie....

A 1.2 or low 1.3 60' and we will see some nice times now I think.
