I've been looking around here for a while and thought I should post.
I've upgraded from my '06 BF2 XR6 to a late '07 BF2 XR6T in Ego, what a great colour in the sunshine.
I'm just completing the interior fit out with all LED's and I'm also building up a Windows based PC with touch screen, GPS and wireless to run on the Premium ICC. I'll try to remember to take photos and post my build progress here.

G'day guys, just became a member this weekend
Had my Stang for about 6 years now & still showin it plenty of love.
It has a 347 stroker with a beefed up C4 & stallie. Puilled the diff out this morning to send out for some steroids ( 9inch ) Got some moser axles & taller gears to go in. Jury is still out on brakes, want to upgrade to discs, but not too sure what option to look at.
Finished up for the night, came in from the cold after partially installing a Gear Vendors Under/Overdive. Hopefully will get it all in & wired up next weekend

Hey all
Have just started to pull the xy apart for a major restore.
I bought the Falcon of an old fella who had it since new, when i was seventeen for my first car.
Had a 250 in it, changed that to a 351 when i turned 18, with a 9 inch diff and toploader.
Now its time to put some time and money into it. Make it the car it should be 072.JPG

Hi all
I own an FG XR6 and a new Territory. I wanted to join this forum to chat about Fords etc but also wanted to see how many people out there know about Ford " programme " cars ?
Dumb old me recently bought the XR6 from a Ford dealer who sold me on the car being a Ford car from a Ford auction. Turned out to be complete BS as the car had been owned by a hire car company and NOT Ford.
Ford sells massive amounts of cars to Gov fleets and hire car companies and as part of the deal sells the cars for those customers a year later through the ford auctions and then naive people like me buy them from a Ford dealer thinking some kindly gentleman from Ford has been driving it around, not had the guts thrashed out of it for a year by half the worlds population.
Sorry my first post is a whinge but wanted to get the word out about this rort.
Cheers

G'day everyone - just wanted to say hi - been reading your open to the public posts for information on Fords.
I have a BA XR8, 03, that I've bought and had since new - love it, its Blue print, 4 speed auto. Its been to KTM and CAPA, so I've built a quick car.
Re-tuned for Premium, Caltex 98 RON, and SCT Ford flash tuner by KTM,with the cold air, larger fuel induction system, stainless cat-back, and BF FPV 19's. Have also put in aftermarket Audi sytle LED headlights, and GT-P steering wheel, and twin screen DVD system. Just looking at getting new front seats, and re-spraying the interior ICC panels.
Getting some RDA rotors and bendix pads from ebay to put on when I get home from work.
Would like to look at a repray too, as I'd like to keep it for another few years till the FG F6, and S/C GTs get cheaper ..lol ...
And in Adelaide aswell .. so any discussion on mobile mechanics, rim repair, and best places for services, new 19's or 20 inch mag upgrades, best places for parts, and 2nd hand tyres - best places and next upgrades - ie. headers and changing diff ratios etc would be very welcome !
So G'day all ...

Hi to everyone. For the last year I have owned a BA XTV8 Falcon Ute and I am having a few problems with the car. If there is anyone out there that could give me advice it would muchly appreciated. My previous Ford car was a Cortina TE 4.1 crossflow which ran a 15.2 down at Willowbank. That was 20 years ago though. I have also owned an AU Xr6 Series 2 Ute. Then I bought the current BA Ute I have now.

Hi

Having recently purchased a 1965 Ford Cortina 440 and owning a 1974 Escort 1300GT thought it was about time I joined this forum

Does anybody know how you go about getting ID tags for a Cortina as the one I have purchased has been recently resprayed and has no ID tags?

I am located in Queensland and wondered what I needed to do in order to get it registered....

Cheers

Smile Hi

Hi all,
I recently brought a white 77 ltd. On the way home windscreen fogged up and the a/c does not work, its still has the old gas so needs too be changed to r134a, the headlights are very dull and when it starts raining I put the wipers on the drivers one brakes, passenger one is fine but there is no one in that seat!
But I could not be more happy, diving home with the kids in the back seat just cruising up the road. Bring on Sumner.
Hope this is in the right spot.

Hi everyone. I started out my driving days with a vc commodore, then a vl commodore, then saw the light and got a subaru which unfortunately a taxi driver destroyed for me, then a mate sold me his 97 falcon and then the mrs decided it would be cool to get an old escort panelvan. I just recently purchased an old EH as well. Whilst i do love my cars i also love motorbikes. Pretty much most things with an engine i find interesting. Anyways i'm sure i'll get to know some of you quite soon and hopefully learn a few things off you guys and maybe even pass on some of my own experiences to help someone else out.

Unfortunately the panvan is currently almost completely stripped atm. As soon as i get to my 20 posts i am going to put it up for sale as the mrs changed her mind and no longer wants to restore it. Lol pity coz i reckon it would be cool as if it was finished.

G'day everyone, been looking at this site for a while getting tips to improve my XR8 ute, finally thought I'd join up n share the ford love haha! I've got a 2004 BA MK2 XR8 ute, it's a 6speed manual with 3.73 diff gears out of the XR6 turbo, it's manderin in colour with a genuine BF Pursuit body kit, F6 tornado seats and door trims, GT guages, 4 piston brembo calipers with the PBR rears, calipers have been colour coded to the car, I've givin it a full re-spray and shaved all the holes in the tub, I've got plenty of things in mind for it performance wise but at the moment she's pritty much a stocker!! Look forward to getting feedback on what everyone else has done and hearing about everyone else's fords!!!
Cheers
