Johns Hopkins gives the "Diamond Princess" a listing all its own, and that is where I picked up the wrong name. That ship is having similar dramas evidently.

With 32 new cases and 4 deaths yesterday our CMR is now just over 1%.
The US CMR continues to rise (5.23%) as does the UK (13.53%) while NZ dropped slightly to 0.77%.

Australian defence officials are looking to how a plane from China held up a Royal Australian Air Force aircraft from landing in Vanuatu while carrying vital humanitarian supplies for the cyclone-struck nation.

The RAAF plane carrying aid was due to land in Vanuatu's capital Port Vila on Sunday, but turned around and returned to Australia when it realised a Chinese plane with medical equipment was also on the airport's tarmac.

Sometime today, Europe will surpass 100k deaths from it's more than 1M cases which gives them the worst CMR of any continent at 9.44%. Oceania still has the best CMR at 0.99% with Asia (3.89%), South America (4.68%), Africa (4.88%) and North America (5.25%) in between.

Europe is still over-represented in both cases and mortalities - with only 9.8% of the world population they have 45.5% of the cases and 62.2% of the deaths.

Seems to be effecting African American community in a very bad way, wonder if it's a lifestyle thing or there's genetic differences that makes it lethal to them?

Any word on how COVID-19 effects our Indigenous community compared to the rest of us?

That aside, a well-connected, well-informed acquaintance visited Khazakstan in the last year, he gave it a massive rap for the efforts in building up a future medical hub on huge scale - I think for cutting edge processes, treatment régimes, elective surgery/tourism surgery. I wonder if it’s been tested at all by the outbreak of CV.

If the origins of the virus are confirmed as being from the lab be it accidental or not, the actions of the WHO and CPP directly following will be a contentious issue, as will the facts as to who was involved and supported the program from the beginning.

I know in The Philippines Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin are drugs readily available at the local Watsons or Mercury drug store without a script from a doctor. Just walk in and order what you want.

Not sure if this directly answers your question though, most people either aren't educated enough to understand how the medication can work, or don't have the money to buy it.
