GTLegend - it 'appears' to be the rod.

Thanks,

But sometimes I dont trust aftermarket. Soemtimes they make two into one when they really should be two seperate parts.

Could be right but I would prefer to see genuine ones compared.

Still possible to get the engine side of the filter fuel line for a BA XR8 ute? Nut is seized in the filter and rounded off.

Cheers, Phil

Should be the same as every other BA Falcon? Unless the V8s are different?
But utes, sedans and wagons are all the same.

G'day GT, need your help please.

Do you have the fuel pressure regulator part number for the 5.4L 24v (Barra 220)?

Do you know if they are 3 BAR or 4 BAR?

Thanks!

Hey mate,

Part number XR3Z9C968AA.

For the life of me I cannot find the spec, I can find 32V at 4 Bar, but the 24V is not listed??

Hi GT I was recommended to ask you from another member, I'm in need to know how many chassis bolts that the BF falcon has in total? And also their length and head size? I've tried google but haven't had any luck, thanks in advance for any help 👍

Hey mate,

Realistically there are no chassis bolts on a BF as it is a monocoque design with no chassis as such.

You need to be a bit more specific on which bolts you are referring to. I may be able to give quantities, but I doubt I could give length and head bot sizes, maybe some thread sizes but that's it.

Makes sense why google had nothing either, thanks mate! A bloke was asking me in regards to getting a quote for a 1 or 2 inch lift on my bf sedan. I'm not sure if that helps? I believe he wants to put spacers of some sort of something to achieve this. In addition. You wouldn't happen to know the best way to achieve this? Thanks again mate

RTV front-end will give you a 70-80mm lift, bit it's a lot of work.
Not sure what you would do with the back-end on a sedan though.

1" is doable with just a thicker top spacer and taller springs.

I would be asking a suspension specialist on doing that modification, taller springs and shocks would be a possible start but that just opens a can of worms as to what else needs to be done. Drive shaft angles and other issues will surely arise. Not impossible, just be ready to tackle issue after unexpected issue.

Hey GT, chance you'd be able to help me find something?

Would you have any clue where I'd be able to buy both side mirrors for a Ghia variant BA Ford Fairmont without costing an arm and a leg.

I've searched almost every wrecker in town, and scrapped the internet trying to find working replacements, only thing I managed to find was an eBay listings for both, but it either costs too much or my standards are too high

Location Australia Wide doesn't matter as long as postage is available, and I'm willing to cover both product and postage.

Appreciate the help!.

Thanks!

Hi mate,

You need to be a bit mores specific. Do you mean the whole mirror assembly or certain components. Whats you budget and where are you located.

A VIN will help narrow dow the exact part number too.

I would probably say just replacing the entire assembly, since one mirror is held to the assembly by tape, and the other has snapped.

I'm located in WA, but buying parts from other states I'll be fine as long as I got postage. Budget I'd probably say around 300 total (150 each) before postage.

VIN: 6FPAAAJGSW3D50626

Hope this helps!

So many Genuine parts are Made in China now, it's disappointing.

Even "Genuine" BA headlights as we know are made by TYC, with Ford stamped on the back. Terrible, cheap and nasty compared to the Hella ones.

SZ Territorys seemed to have considerably more Chinese Genuine Ford parts than SX/SY, e.g. floor mats, air con condenser. It's a real shame.
