the car is still running with drivline in tact untill i can find a buyer for the motor and after the motor + gearbox is out im gonna start chopping and buy a welder or borrow one from somwere.

That EA looks to be in better condition than half the EAs you see on the road today.

the pics dont do justice for how neet that car looks

i have looked at it in the metal

if i was in the market for an ea i would cry if ya cut that up

and josh what are ya doing with the cutting

i thought about it and the cut the roof off is not a bad idea

yeah i havnt decided yet but i think well stick with the original plan of no roof, and using 3inches of the back section of the front doors so it flows all the way up to the plate that goes on the front of the trailer but yeah will start cutting next week probably

the motor and box is now out, just have to do the petrol tank, fuel lines, hand brake cable etc etc blah blah all that stuff and then remove the rear windscreen and rear door internals including all the glass, then weld up some support bars to stop it from warping then cut it up, so still a little while away yet, and i still need to buy a welder :( or hire one at least

yeah this ea was pretty clean, and cheap considering the condition, the owner came around today and had a look on the progress and yeah its going well so far, havnt hit any hickups yet but im sure there will be some. oh well time for work now. photos will be up tomorow arvo of progress.

seeing as the trailer will be made out of the sedan.. how bout a zipper style? half ea half eb, and the same if an ef/el trailer happens.
Use 15" rims for all models.. say fairmont rims for each side and paint in whatever colour that model came in.. just a thought..
