Do you think this an ex cop car?
60,000'k's and steering wheel looks heavily worn for that many k's. I'm not interested in buying it, I've just been waiting for the ex cop cars to hit the market as I'm interested in what they'll sell for. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/det...17588827/?Cr=0 |

I could be wrong but I thought that it was only the NSW HP that has BMW's.

I drove past an RBT set-up this morning & there were 5 HWP cars there. 2 Falcon & 3 Commodores.
Have they been stockpiling these cars ? Or have they been in service for at least 2 or 3 years. Dr Terry |

here is Sydney's south we have 4 brands to choose from for HWP
most are VF SS commodores, then 530D's, XR6t and a lone 300C (this one like to give it heaps and cruise in 1st gear) there maybe others but have not seem them apparently Kia is working with the police to have integrated systems within the factory dash with more automation if thats the case kia and hyundai will be used alot more, however the HWP cars need to be bigger than a stinger and have rear headroom so i'd say 530D's only from now on

I have seen both marked and unmarked Subaru Liberty's in the last week here so presumably they will be the general duties replacement.
Passat R Line Wagon will be for HWP but not sure if they are in service yet. Definitely not seen any of them. What I don't understand is why do each state and territory differ in their fleets and why they can't use a common platform? I saw this article which could be interesting for future. https://www.caradvice.com.au/785889/...of-the-future/ |

I've seen a heap of the new BMW 5 series getting around marked and unmarked - seems they've got a huge mix of unmarked cars too, seen them getting about in unmarked Hiluxes, Rangers, still some of the VF Commodores, 5 series, VWs etc.
Would be an absolute nightmare who ever is doing the conversions and putting in all the equipment having to work on so many different cars lol |

I'm told we won't see anymore unmarked BMW's and those that are unmarked will be marked up

Beechworth still using a Nissan Patrol, most of the smaller towns use Ford Territory's with a mix of Hyundai's.
