I know this has already been addressed, but lowered doesn't look 'OK', it looks amazing compared to factory... it isn't about the height of the car off the ground at all, unless you're going for that 'slammed' look, but the cars in general would look a lot better if they made the wheel-arch lower so the tire doesn't look like a 15" that got lost somewhere. I don't want a car that scrapes everywhere... but I don't want to be able to fit my hand in the gap between the tire and the tope of the wheel-arch. All that needs to be changed is sheet-metal, the height isn't really the issue.

Apart from that supercharger whine which sounds fantastic, was how easy the car reached the 240. It didn't sound like he was given it any throttle and it was right up there in no time. The engine sounds awesome. Love that V8 note on the new engine.

I'm going to throw myself into the lions den by saying that the whine noise the supercharger makes is bloody annoying. Not just on the GT but superchargers in general.

Great clip, thanks for sharing. He noted understeer a couple of times but otherwise seemed genuinely impressed.

Sounded great, imagine it with a decent set of pipes on!

Ok then. So what would be the end result of having some lock on the steering wheel with the tyre now sticking out from the guard? I would say a slight bump and the guard will be imbedded into the tyre. Not good for the guard, tyre and your pocket. There is space between the guard and tyre for a reason. And with our roads it should stay that way!

I couldn't help but notice how sloppy his gear changes are.

The car itself sounded awesome though.

I'm not a big fan of that supercharger whine, but then again I can't legally drive, or afford a new GT so why does my opinion matter?

Pish-posh and pedantic. Blower whine?
If that supercharged V8 ford doesn't give you that tingley feeling in your loins, then you're the kind of fella that gets a chubby over a camry.

Brilliant work Ford, absolutely astonishing performance from a V8 that rightfully has re-taken the top crown as the weapon of choice.
