I figured there'd be a few Westralians that recognised it, it is something you would notice in traffic.

I remember that one too, sort of like the Bat mobile of the bin and litter world. A bit sad seeing it like that, I used to love seeing it.
There was another custom plumbers rig going around at the same time, not sure what it was but it was called 'The Stool Bus'

I know it says it's a ute but wonder if it was cut down from a rusty panel van back in the day using both ute roof cap and PV parts.

Guy at work just bought a VZ Clubsport manual in yellow. Paid 45 K which he was happy with. It has over 200k on the clock with receipts for a rebuilt engine

It was good of Franco to quickly pull over in his Triton and run back and take the snap of the Valiant. Much appreciated.

Saw a Probe today on North East Rd, coming out of the Bunnings at Windsor Gradens. Was in that paint that changes colour from purple through blue and gold and green and whatever else, depending on position of the sun to the panel.

Was weird because about 20 years ago my mate got rear-ended by one about 500m up the road from there at the Holden Hill copshot lights...did not take him long to get sick of the probe up the **** comments.

Citroen Xantia coming out of the tyre shop I was going into.
Very nice condition - sparkling in the sun in a nice metallic green.
I guess I notice 'cause I drive a Citroen C5X7, one of the last Hydropneumatic suspension models.

An old Charger parked on main street.
Definitely a daily driver, dirty red colour, dirty windows, dirty rims and and scuffed tyres.
Think it was rocking roofrack too.
Wash your car dude....looks like last time was 1986

Taurus Ghia finishing tonight on Grays.

Actually looks like it's in reasonable condition for its age, would be a fun weekend cruiser on club plates, something different from the usual at least!

Side by side with a HZ kingswood prem, bluey-grey, old school rims and white lettering. Bit ripply along the side but tidy.
Early crisp morning, slow traffic, 253 had burble.

First gen pathfinder is something i haven’t seen in a long, long time. Not to mention the Toyota 4runner. Haven’t seen one of those in years either. They both used to be fairly common.

Today: Rover 3500 (P6; 1968-77 wiki tells me); full Vic reg, older bloke driving it; looked a bit tatty, but he's still driving it ...

Humber sedan; full Vic reg personalised plate and a reg check says it's a 1961 model and registered until 4 May 2023; rusty doors; parked on street; didn't look like it's been driven much - if at all - recently

early Celica coupe, 1970s; looked like a daily driver; not pristine condition

and an MGB still on full reg.

Spotted a Citroen DS this morning enjoying the autumn sunshine. Have always like the bigger Citroen's, especially this and the C6 from the mid-2000's.

Manual too i think. Lowered a touch with some nice pipes.
