Here are a few BDA powered cars. Keep an eye on the yellow March, it's incredible. There is a F5000 in the second clip.

yes 2L Twin Cam and turbo'd put out upwards of 600hp or so as well... My picks - the pirtek rally car focus, heard that at full song on the weekend on TV sounded awesome for something anyone can afford - Honda CBR250RR - revvs to 18,500 anything that revs that high sounds great. |

Car:- The BMW based BT54 engine used in Brabham/BMW during mid 80's Formula 1. 1500cc+3.5Bar boost = 1500Hp in qualifying ! Just mind numbing
![]() Bike:- New MV Agusta F4 1000 with RG3 exhaust. Woah ![]() |

The Best sounding fours would have to be either the engine in the Honda S2000, and the boxer fours from the WRX. Cosworth fours? Yeah, nice as well. Europeans like Alfa and porsche (way back in the 944 days) had excellent sounding fours as well. Older Alfa Fours with an exhaust and a little work can have a mini Ferrari esque tone to them and sound great. Havent read the rest of the thread so My apologies if I repeated anything. |

I have just uploaded another video, this time from the 2006 Historic Winton meet just gone. There is more footage of the yellow 1973 March powered by a 1.6 litre Cosworth BDA. It was lapping the short course in 59 seconds. It laps the long course in 1:21, so it's a bloody fast!
The following two cars are also powered by BDA's, then a VW Golf and a Ford crossflow (Kent). http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...08343025782052 Quote:

I actually like the note of my mate's Peugeot 306 XSi, and it's not even the hot GTi6...
Thing is, a lot of people think noise and 4cyl and think of little Japanese shopping trolleys with cannons on them. Many European 4 cylinder engines sound quite nice.
