I think the demise of lpg can also be atributed to hybrid vehicles.

Not sure Australia wide. But almost 95% of taxis here now are either camry hybrids or prius.
there is also mote of a trend lately of seeing them more often in battery bar or battery world etc car parks than in petrol stations.

My last taxi ride i asked and they said they fill up once a fortnight now sometimes less... 97% of driving is on the batteries they said.
It tends to kill them quicker but they sell them off and buy a new car and away they go apparently.
The government are helping to subsidize the cost to try and curb a greener city etc.
So the taxi companys are running with it.
So if you're not seeing the taxis in your servo buying lpg anymore about 95% of sales will have disappeared. So why keep lpg and if building a new servo why spend money to put it in??
Most of the gas instalation shops have closed up now too.
Hard to find lpg system spares locally now.

What did you have to do? Chip and just pour it in? Would there be any difference in NA I6? Cheers.

Most of the ethanol in NSW is from wheat but the producer is switching production to starch as the E content is typically down to 3% in E10.
