To be taken so suddenly and tragically makes it all the more difficult for you Fifi and the families. My thoughts are certainly with you.
RIP Mark

For those who would like to attend the funeral here are the details:

Friday 16th October at 11.00 a.m
North Chapel Crematorium
Pinegrove
Great Western Hwy
Minchinbury NSW

At only 39 years of age and leaving his wife Fifi and his twin 14 year old daughters behind, this is a tragedy and I would urge those able to attend to do so as a token of our support.

Regards
Russ

Fifi the grief and shock must be unbearable, but you have shown a strength of character that will get you through. Mark will live on in your heart, in your family and in the friends he made.

You're only a keyboard away from support if you need it.

This is terrible news! Every time I saw the Eels avatar I looked forward to reading what Mark had to say.
Fifi, what you have now are the memories and your daughters they are what keep you strong!
As the Ulysses bike club would say he has "Ridden On" RIP Mark

Just came across this thread and saddens me to read......
Amazing like many of us here never to meet in person yet feel a connection with members be it regular or not.
I noticed Mark S's posts mostly about his beloved Parra Eels, glad he got to see them in the recent GF before this terrible accident. Unbiased and sound posts.
So sorry to leave behind a loving wife and twins !
RIP mate and sincere condolense's to the family.

Not sure if anything I'll say has already been said, but I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.

I never knew him, but it's always sad when someone dies. Especially a person who was so well respected on this forum.

Default A good mate

Mark was a fine mate and neighbour to have. Without him guiding me I may never have found my beloved TE50 or even this Forum. I had never really attempted to fix anything on a vehicle until he encouraged and guided me. Now I have found a love of cars that I didn't know before. Thanks mate for everything, always ready to help in times of need and lending me one of his many tools. A big man with an even bigger heart. A missed member of our small community. Love ya mate. The TE50 will be there on Friday representing our friendship and this great group of Forums. :
