Agreed which is why I am surprised that nothing has been seen as of yet. I'm still waiting for someone to "find" some official renderings in a Broadmeadows rubbish bin...

Ever since the appalling Jez Spinks joined Caradvice (as Editor in Chief ??), there has been a major shift to an irrational and pervasive editorial anti-Ford bias, with Spinks reveling in every opportunity to almost hysterically malign, demean and damn the Falcon - the antitheses of professional objectivity. I remember when car advice always had spy pics of any new model, now it's just same articles as any other car news site. I liked because it always seemed unbiased, now with jez guy in charge it's gone down hill.
Anyway, I can't wait to start seeing the mules getting around. I love seeing all the speculation and artist impressions on what it's going to look like.

I don't think it will be far off between this and the Fusion/Mondeo.

For anyone in this thread that isn't aware, Ford teased the F?'s styling back in August.
http://news.drive.com.au/drive/motor...813-2rtpf.html IMO the look is Fusion crossed with Mustang. |

I think we should create a new rule, no more "2014 Falcon spy pic" topics unless you have an actual picture to show!!

Come on you guys in Melbourne,
Pretty sure that a new Falcon went from Geelong to East Melbourne and back on Saturday!! Let alone all the trips to the proving grounds from Geelong... All on public roads, freeways, etc... |

I live in Lara and every now and then if I have time I'll go past the proving ground hoping to see something on my way to the free way, yet to see anything... :(

Jez Spinks a Douche? That's going easy on the gormless, professionally incompetent and unethical moron.
It would be great if another on-line alternative, capitalised on the vacuum created from the once quality, interesting, informative and objective Caradvice (Predating Lez...er....Jez Spinks).....and we might finally get some "real" "Spy" shots. |

From Ford's Chief Designer, Chris Svensson:
“You’re going to be surprised when you see it, how different it is versus today’s car,” said Mr Svensson, who said all the design work was done locally. “We had enough scope that I think when you put the two cars side by side you’ll be shocked at the difference." Read the whole article here: http://www.goauto.com.au/mellor/mell...257A9E007EDCE8 This puts to bed the theory the FH will only be a minor generic cosmetic change. From the same article: The FG Falcon’s basic ‘glasshouse’ is expected to remain, but redesigned headlights, bumpers and grille, a new bonnet and front quarter panels will transform the look of the Falcon. |

My guess is that it came from Broadmeadows or Geelong over to the other side of Melbourne, don't know if Ford is trying to get someone to snap it or not..... Loch Ness monster would be easier to photograph...normally Drive and Goauto would be all over this before any of us.. Just sayin' that it looks like main media interest is waning on new Falcon.. That's great news! Personally I have disliked the FG since it's release aside from the glasshouse and door skins. Bring on some muscle to the design! Shame I will not be in the country to buy one new for the next 2-3 years! Better be lots second hand when we get back!!
