i bought the game... the muscle car side of things is a great step forward, but the game sucks overall. I brought it back and traded it for battlefield 2142.

When will EA come to their senses and bring back 'hot pursuit' style need for speeds where it's about racing and cop chases? get rid of the WHOLE storyline, they are for 6 year olds and maybe bring back the vehicle showrooms and picture galleries, they were interesting! not this "this is my territory, so stay out" crap... everyone knows that NO ONE acts like that in the real world.

Yeah its a pretty weak game, a huge step forward car wise but the whole ricer fantasy thing is annoying and since when were barracuda's, chargers, gt 500's or camaros 5spd's i think someone needs to do a little more research.

Can you drive a cop car in Carbon? I actually enjoy doing the chasing rather than being chased.

I think there is some online race mode where the last person to complete a lap becomes the cop, but I don't think there is any way to conduct a pursuit event on the single player side of things. There might be though.

Tell me about it. The crap I hate most is the constant "Your car is a joke, you should go home now" in all the underground-themed games. Having someone in an rx7 tell you that your murcielago is nothing compared to their car is somewhat pathetic, although I'm sure that similar scenarios to that sometimes do happen in real life, as depressing as it may be.

pwoah nice cars howd you scam that gt500?? ive had the game for 5 days and already completed 60% and thats only after like 20 hours of playtime, good game LOOOVEEEE the canyon drifting, found the drifting has an initial d sort of feel to it. Other then the canyon drifting i find the game to be very poor to be totally honest not much has changed and as for the "crew" thing well they do more harm then good. i give it a 4/10 good effort but ive seen rockstar produce much much better quality games.

(this is only one kids experience, please dont take any of this to heart...for all you whingers out there : )

mods are endless basically for a full cars list hit up eagames.com i think or just chuck in need for speed carbon in google, the cars are awesome dont get me wrong just everything else is average

I must admit, I cheated to get it early. That's been modded quite heavily. It's got the normal production Shelby in the game, but you can get the Elanor bodykit for it. I may have done the rims a bit too gold. Elanor had a tinge of gold to the rims, but they weren't that gold.

EA Games don't show ALL the cars on the official site.

And sadly, you can't be a cop in single player. You can unlock the cop cars, but you just race them like a normal car

My son has had it for a week,he finished it.I find games you can complete quickly are a waste of money. GT4 and V8 Supercars 3 are much better value.

There are cop cars. That link I posted doesn't show them. It uses the same cop cars as in Most Wanted. You can unlock them so you can race them in Quick Race, but you can't play as the cop and try to arrest people

technically thats not really a cop car if you cant pull them over, but oh well off to eb to spend more money

You buy it in "Customize" and then in "auto styling" you pop it out of the bonnet. nb..Make sure you have the appropriate crew member available to do the mods on your team.

I've completed 100% of career mode myself. The Corvette is awesome The games addictive and took me 36 hours to complete career mode. I think career mode lacked depth.

I loved the muscle cars. Pretty much stuck with them all the way as the ghey ricers and exoctics weren't quick enough to win.

i dunno about that brenx, i took the "tuner" mode the whole way as the handling of the muscle cars and the exotics annoyed the hell out of me. I took on and won against Teir 3 guys in my Teir 2 RX7.

Bought it today for XBOX cant play it till i get home from hols on Friday, cant wait
