Was A good night, got there a bit late so missed out on some exciting runs.......

Hope you got home alright DAN........
Garry, hope your tyres didn't go flat on the way home (to many burnouts apparently)

Decided to take the JMM Dev 3 BA for a run and clocked a 14.24 which was awesome, now need to find a descent clutch system for these cars as mine is very stinky now. Will be back for more, maybe a BA Na that does a 13.9999999999 will be achieveble.

Thanks again all..

Well done Brenden that was an awsome time for a I6 BA without head work or changing the cams looks like plenty of potential left in that car, but I still beat your pb by 0.05 of a second :evilking:

Yes that XT was flying mate

I know how you feel about the clutch, my ute is now sidelined as the slippage is now so bad it does 200rpm less in 5th at 100km/hr...., wasnt a good drive home (especially for also getting nabbed for incorrect headlight adjustment, no fine) :

Congrats to all invloved, both on and off the track to make another enjoyable, successful outing for the aussie ford forumer's. Well done to all who got PB's

Habib (one of bigbangers mates) was the standout for me in his old orange ecotec ute! :

Myself, Hamo & Friends, would like to say Special thanks to MR & Mrs XA Coupe, Russ, Laminge, Shane and everyone else who worked the time booth all night, you guy's are no:1, with the huge effort you guy's put in that time booth is what makes the meetings we have a very big success every-time.
Thx Mrs XA Coupe for getting our accommodation always works out well.
I ran a 13.6 which is the quickest i have run at Heathcote, 105.80 mph is the best MPH i have ever had.
Thx to VX8255 (Anthony) for the tyres he donated to my Bro, Hamo had a ball 14.30@97.66 mph... this bests his best time by 1/2 sec and the cars best time by .330. thx to G&D PERFORMANCE.
My friend BigBanger (John) enjoyed the night he did want to run a 9 sec pass but 10.11 was close, he was impressed by the Heathcote concrete start line, gets the front wheels in the air.
Jac, Eamon, MyV8 (Chris) you guy's coming from interstate, this is why our AFF club meets are so successful, (the people) thx for your efforts.
Thanks to Heathcote Park & there Staff.

See You Next Time, At Another AFF successful Drag meeting.
.
orsmxr Chris, well done nice drive, you nearly had him (Chris), it was the best side by side race i seen of the night.....now change your sig..

Let me add my thanks to all who helped throughout the night and to Russell and Joanne at HPR for conducting another excellent event. I particularly appreciated the time taken by one staff member to assist a first time racer and it is this type of attitude that makes it such a pleasure to attend the venue. They're a great crew.

I was equally happy with an almost half second better PB of 13.65, well better than the previous (consistent) runs of 14.2.

Cheers
Russ

there will be a post about it well in advance. This one was as a result of a rain out so there wasn't as much notice as usual.

Was my first visit to HPR and I thouroughly enjoyed it! Was also my first time on the 1/4 as I had only ever done an 1/8 mile. Thanks to everyone who made the event possible.

My PB was a dismal 15.37 but atleast the 93mph means it's got about a 14.7 in it... just got to get an LSD under it and some better tyres : Nice to put some more faces to names too.

Hi mate, welcome to the Forums.

Removing the tailgates is something we do to try and take some weight out of the cars. It also eliminates stone chips from the tailgates from the rocky return roads.

Love your pursuit btw.

Yet another well run event by the AFF's.
Must get off my clacker next time and help the usual suspects with some hands on help in the booth.
Well done to al involved.
Dissapointed with my time of 14.1406 @ 100.49........2.20/60' specially since i have had a lend of a air box, underdrives and a throttle body.
