Love the old school Lego. Some of those new Star Wars sets look great as well.

I love Lego, and happily blow my money on it to this day. I would love the big crane, but they sell for $1000 on ebay these days, andd are as rare as hens teeth. I own sets from the 70's to today, have three littlen wheelie bins full of regular lego bricks and sets, and three big tubs of technic, hundreds of sets and many thousands of dollars worth.

My favourite is the lego town, from the 80's I think, has all the roads, a Shell servo, shops, houses, buses, a hospital, police and fire station, even a grand prix track. All complete with boxes and instructions. I'll die before that leaves me.

I love Lego; I had a set when I was a kid and I bought a few for my daughter as well. It's great for developing creativity and dexterity, among other things, which is why I'm happy to spend a bit more on it for her. Unfortunately a relative gave her some Barbie dolls (ugh) and now she ignores the Lego.

I have always had lego
I had nearly the entire Dragon Knights collection from a few years back, all I was missing was the big castle and the catapult and I think one other set that I can't think of right now
also had some pirates and an airport set and a random bunch of Lego City buildings/cars

NOW I have recently purchased/wife purchased for me the
green and white truck and dog trailer
big bulldozer(not the technics stuff)
40cm tall crane
and the service centre set with the tow truck

Ha Ed, check this out, 24 wheels on the truck and dog, plus 24 more.

I was buying so many in 2006 that there was a shortage on bricklink for a while.

The plan is to build a full 3 trailer road train, so I will need more wheels as well, about 20 more.

This is the V12 engine I build for the truck but it was too big and not right so it will be a stationary engine as part of the load on the trailer.

This is the 4 speed gear box that I build for it as well.. guess what, too big again, oh well another load for the trailer then.

Truck has 3 working diffs with serspention.

Don’t know want I love more, Lego or Ford

I'm impressed!! That's going to be an awesome rig when you get it done.
I just might have to get back into these things and have a build.
I also like building cranes, have got all of the big ones they've done so far.

Yeah i get what you mean Rog, but all mine are built then put on display in my "man-cave" or on the entertainment unit in the lounge room.

Hardly driving the ute at the moment Rog, which mean's my fuel bill is that for nearly 5 weeks, unless I've got TAFE that week

Well I finished it around 4pm yesterday, with a few pieces left over and it still all works fully..... go figure.
