I live near the East Kurrajong turn-off ... drive it everyday to work.
Sometimes head north for a quick blat ... good times.

Nice work Orbit ... I'd need to take some photos while out and about as well.

Got some pics of driving in the wet down between Kiama and Berry ... nice roads down there as well.

Galston Rd is fun ... also going from Castle Hill to Wisemans Ferry .. and then over the Ferry and up to Somersby from there ... also the back roads out through Maralya from Wisemans is good fun as well (night time you need decent lights though as some corners can be a surprise ... as well as wildlife too).

The coast road down to Vic is nice ... I have been to Mallacoota a few times ... good road indeed. Narooma has nice roads down there.

Definitely a good road up to Dorrigo from Coffs ... agreed there ... and also continue along to Ebor and across to Armidale as well ... great sweepers out there ... I want to drive that road again ... I have done it once ... I have to do it again.

national park is good but the road surface is shitty, too many large bumps for the likign of how low my car is

didn't mind the old pac, of course getting aroudn a mercedes that was doing 45kmh on a tiny straight made it all the more exciting

macquarie pass, recently resurfaced mmmm mmm

Hence why on the peak of the mountain, you drive nice and slow and just 'glide' over the bumps, and then give it some stick in the corners :P

The newly turfed section about 5km before you get to Stanwell Tops is the best though. I could do that section about 5 times a day!

Basically, start at the Waterfall turn off in the natio park, and then head towards Stanwell. Get to Stanwell Tops, and do it all again :

I did Galstone Gorge after work today, and gawd damn!

Its not too bad, but only if you are certain their is no other traffic. The lanes are barely wide enough for a Focus let alone a big 4WD lumbering towards you. Surface is choppy and the big a** reflectors on the hairpins I recon cause more chance of understeering, when tyre hits the slippery plastic, locks up, and the ABS goes nuts hampering your braking on a perfect piece of grippy ashpalt. By the time you realise this is happening you are already trying to turn in but the car is too fast to turn.

Macquarie Pass still gets my vote, especially when following a certain grey Zetec

Old Road isn't that much fun anymore ... cops hide along it now ... they have stationed themselves in several areas along there ... nighttimes as well. Mainly because of the bikes though.

Did Galston Gorge on the weekend, was lots of fun. Not as free flowing as other roads and speed signs are a bit decieving. Traffic was light but got stuck behind an echo that didnt wanna use the accelerator.
