Massive price war going on around the suburbs located near Brisbane's Costco. Unleaded is as low as 130.9, with all the majors now undercutting Coscto. This time last week the same majors were selling unleaded for 163.9.
Just proves how much we are getting ripped off by the fuel companies. |

Golly. 174 for unleaded here, and 204 for premium. I miss QLD fuel prices.

Yeah I have only seen the local ones only about 1c cheaper, not counting discount prices I never look at them. Filled up at bp yesterday though and their 91 was 1c cheaper but 98 was still 7c more expensive than costco. If it stays like that I reckon I'll be making a visit to costco to try it

People dont realise that if you are using fuel for transport (whilst meeting certain criteria), then you can get fuel for an effective price of around 80 cents a litre now. Theres almost a business case for a smart operator to get petrol in Adelaide, and supply to the Darwin and to a better extent, the Alice Springs market (last price about $1.80 a litre). |
