I'm in the same boat. I'm 44 and not as into hill racing as I used to be (besides, that was what the bike was for), but not I want to trade the Golf on something with a similar power level. 140-150kw. Nothing crazy, but enough for when I need it. Comfortable for daily and long trip driving, but something that still holds the road when I do hit some corners.
I like the Focus styling at present, and think the S would suit me with some minor mods if there were any to increase the 125kw. Throw a turbo on the S? ;) |

turbo a lower model, it wouldnt take much to kick ST butt with a after market turbo set up.

Buy an S and you will soon wish you went with an ST. Buy an 'unpainted' one like mine and blend in.
The S isnt even in the same league.
