Don't forget the heatsoak issues the LS engines have in the Commodore, plenty of tests have shown oil temp go through the roof over a couple of laps around a track. Thats not to say F6 would be any better as Im not sure. Also not trying to take too much from the GTS as I would imagine they are a great bit of kit and definately wouldnt mind having one in the driveway

It's a real shame to see the GT not living up to it's name. Bring back the days of a big NA V8 stomping all over the Holdens. Those guys sure are living it at the moment, why cant we?

the new gts - looks cheap, tacky and probably satisfies the typical Holden fan.the first time I saw this car on the cover of a mag, I honestly thought it was a joke. And who cares if their v8 is better. If you are that concerned bolt on a kb. For less cash, I would rather own something with a better interior/exterior,(and probably quicker, the f6) up to date technology and a ford badge.

(Not that this is a dig at HSV. We're not immune from expensive badges either).

Ok, cheers for that, Deech, 4Vman. The better suspension and bigger brakes would no doubt help the GTS get around a track faster than the Clubsport.

i think the ve's look better than the fg's. but if i were to buy a ford or a holden on looks, i'd still be buying the bf!! its a lot easier on the eye than the fg.
