I ride to work 3-4 times a week. It is hard in winter and late at night, but it saves a bit in petrol, and I get a decent workout as well. No parking hassles either!

I used to play touch footy all year round, but shift work killed that.

good 3-4 k run 3 times per week.

3 gym sessions, (one cycle class, and two weight, with a few mates)

Best thing after work, stress goes out the window, and you sleep bloody good that night. Then feel great the next day....

But i am a believer in eating right to keep fit too.....

When I was young (early teens) i was a fitness fanatic. I played basketball, footy, cricket and tennis, then did well in middle distance running where I won a few national and state titles from 1500m to 5km road

Then I had a break after a big meet, went to a party during that hit some turps and couldnt be stuffed training again...the rest is history!

Work keeps me fit these days and some jobs the weight training is inlcuded in it too, but recently bought a bike to start riding again.

It's amazing how much better you feel after getting some fitness back, even if you are not overweight to begin with

Yeah it could - but i'm too exhausted from assembling 352kg (every box has a weight on it!) of Ikea Waredrobes, digging out and lifting in the back of a ute 3 x 60+kg tree furns, doing grout work on my knees in the bathroom and preparing the house for an engagement party!

Thats in addition to the regular clothes and dish washing... Busy friggin' weekend :

Sounds a lot like my mate. He was going to be a fitness instructor if he couldnt make the majors for baseball. He made the team for Australia but due to SARS and terrorism they didnt get to play overseas. Anyhow we would hit the booze and smokes every Saturday night and he would have baseball on Sundays.

One day he decides to quit baseball and I ask why. He says "To get smashed with you guys!" Bad decision because apparently there had been a scout watching him. He was spewing because its big money in the US hahha.

Hes still pretty strong but no where near fit. Lol he would probably cough up a lung before he made 1st base, if he didnt get struck out first lol.

I work out on my home gym four days a week, do a 10k run 2-3 days a week plus I'm also an Irish dancer so that keeps you pretty fit.

Lets see my fitness 'regime'
Work horses
Go to work, and work more horses
Come home.. feed up horses
1 weekend a month walk for miles around swap meets (my personal favourite) generally lugging around a pair of new mags.. very good for weight training
Work in a vineyard and be on my feet for 8 1/2 hours a day, walking up and down rows

And i find working on cars is very good for my abs, i always forget to take the right tools with me and get under the car, realise i forgot something, get back up again.. its really good.. i would suggest it to everyone.. lol

Always wanted to go to join to 'improve' my fitness, but was rejected for membership because they thought i was too thin!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm always eating junk food, drinking rum, sitting around killing time and doing things that might have me classed as a lazy slob.

I work as a furniture removalist, and spend as much time running on the job as I can. Be it from one end of the warehouse to the other with a roll of tape in my hand or from the truck to the front door of a clients house.

I might not be very fit as far as long distance running goes, but I'm fit enough to be happy with myself. And it's all exercise that I get paid for. :

Oh, and before this job I was a runner on the hard rubbish for a waste management company, getting paid to run up and down the street and to lift and throw things in the back of a truck.

Now THAT was what I call ideal exercise. A full days exercise and a big fat paycheck at the end of it.

I chase girls, its good for my fitness but not so good for my ego ;)

Used to play a lot of sport but had 3 knee operations in the last two years have kind of stopped that. Still play golf saturday and go to the gym every now and then (currently cant move arms - this is what happens when you try to lift as much as your mate who goes everyday and you go once a week)
