theres a ute getting round geelong in toxic and an xr8 sedan in the new blue (which i have also seen on the territory which is terrible) i guess they wanna get em out on the road to get the peoples opinion

Blaze on an xr isnt that nice although i have seen it on a territory and looks ok. My brother has the luxury of updating his car every six months and is due for his next one and it will be a blaze terry so will post some pics as soon as i get some

No, Envy is still about. There is a Vibe xr6 running around up this way...haven't decided if I like it yet.

I don't mind that new Blue (as in the pic) but I still like shockwave better. Just don't like Blueprint at all. Mandarin looks good, as in a Pursuit Ute...

Blaze reminds me of Tiger Mica from the VTII to VX Commodores.
I reckon it doesn't look that bad, however the world is not ready for another influx of tiger hued cars...... It also makes ford look like theyre trying to copy commo colours. Specially with the Bionic colour.... Which i reckon looks a little crook too.

most of the car companies copy or get ideas for colors from other car companies anyway....and its not just ford and holden....there was "rapid" colored little shit boxes getting around long before ford had it, and maybe even before holden had it on the monaro....

i think daewoo may have a similar color to envi, and also to that tiger mica color...

then theres holden with their version of phantom, which actually looks more like vibe, which isn't as good as phantom anyway. lol

and the color i saw that disgusted me on the XR that day, was NOT blaze....it was something completely different...it was like a beige, and it was hideous

Best way to describe Blaze is like a very dark Champagne Metallic colour. So it may have been it you saw. Other than that, the only one it may have been is 'Icon' which is a new colour, however im pretty sure it's yet another shade of blue *sigh*.

i did only see it quick (opposite sides of the ring rd at 100km/h each) but it wasn't that dark...it was a real light gold color, very pale....and it just looked like shit on the XR....but im sure it'd look just as bad on an XT

Envy is my fave colour (just cause everyone has been going crazy with blue's the last few years, I mean everyone including heaps of car manufacturers) Envy is awesome, better than the other green. They better not discontinue Envy. Then again I'm a bit biased as greens my favourite colour... ;)

It is possible it could have been an XT etc XR mockup. Theres an XT here with an XR front, it would look ok except for the fact its still got hubcaps

Then again it could be a one off colour. There is a S1 AU XR here (and it is a genuine one cos ive had a closeup look at it), which is Amaretto in colour. Has the biplane spoiler and it looks pretty good in that colour i think, and its a very rare car too. It wasnt resprayed either - its a factory paint job.

sure could have been....but why anyone would make an XT into an XR look-a-like in that color is more mysterious than me seeing the mystery color :P

there is a grey BA wagon here with a GT front end and bonnet bulge...it looks insane! i've only ever seen it twice, both times heading in the opposite direction to me, on a 2 lane road (1 each way) so i was close to it both times...but never got to see if it had sideskirts/rear bars to suit. the front looks awesome though

i think i saw "toxic" the other day....

i was driving past ford on barry road, and there was an XR coming towards me which looked like Citric acid, but with a lot more green to it....definitely wasnt citric acid....is that what toxic is supposed to be? a greener citric acid?

A Mandarin AU? Dont like the idea of that. There's an Acid Rush AUIII Futura here and I'm told it was actually painted that way from the factory - was one of the very last AU's to go through and they used it as a test to see what finish quality they'd be able to achieve with the BA. It doesnt look all that good.

Toxic sounds interesting but just the name of it is enough to put me off buying a car in that colour.
