Too many cars and not enough space to keep it undercover. I've got the space now - wish I'd kept it in a way.

Came up great. Good work on the polish. Wheels are mint!

Are you sure that's Monsoon. Have you checked the paint code?

Thanks.
It's by no means perfect and I'm no polishing pro.
Yeah paint code is MN and books say Monsoon.
It is very close in colour to yours isn't it?

The Monsoon looks a little darker than the Blue Pearl but yes fairly close. Different polishes can make colours look different also.

Mine is up on stands. So far have changed radiator and some hoses, new header tank and coolant, spark plugs, diff oil. Trans ATF tomorrow although shortly I am going to get a Ford trans specialist to fix a leak towards the rear and replace the rear mount which is covered in ATF.

Also going to swap out the steering rack as its leaking both sides. I have one from a TE50 thats only done 63,000 klms so will see how that goes and get a wheel alignment.

After the mechanical work is finished I will start the detail inside and out and get some pics up

Been busy getting this car sorted mechanically and still haven't done any detailing but might get to it this weekend when I get a 4 day break but with top temps of high 30's forecast maybe not.

Paint is shiny but has plenty of swirls and holograms in it so I will give it a 3 step correction. Bought a set of slimline weathershields for it today as its a hot colour and I want to let the heat out by having the windows down a bit. LCD display has been previously repaired and the roof console is broken due to being brittle from the heat so ordered a new one today. Being a late AU its actually got a BA squarish one in it so I ordered same.

Car is pretty well sorted with the following items replaced
Radiator 2 core copper and hoses
Header tank and fresh coolant
Spark plugs Bosch Platinum
Harmonic balancer Powerbond
Power steer pump nut
Power steer rack replaced with T3 TE50 unit from a wreck with only 63K on it
Auto service with full flush and some gaskets replaced to fix leaks
Rear trans mount replaced due to damage from trans leaks
Diff oil replaced

When the trans specialist did the rear extension housing gasket and mount he had to lower the exhaust out of the way and the small rubber mounts for the cross bar between the exhaust flanges just disintegrated due to being soaked in fluid. Ford dealer spent a lot of time looking for these on their system but no luck. Its a 12mm rod that passes thru 2 u shaped hangers just forward of the rear mount

You can see it laying in the bottom of the hangers. So I cut a length of garden hose and fuel pipe running one inside the other and got it around the bar from one side to the other thru the hangers as a temporary measure. A mate has a Ford spares contact and hopefully he can find the rubbers when he returns from hols. The issue is the bar is not shown in Fords exploded diagram and they looked at earlier and later models and even 6 cyl cars trying to find the part. Will report back when I know more
